Challenges To Making Workplaces More Inclusive

In the summer of 2023, Arizona State University and the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration hosted more than 100 volunteer administrators in 21 virtual focus groups. The topic was attitudes and experience in making organizations more inviting to a greater spectrum of volunteers. Volunteer leaders particularly seized on the barriers they face in diversifying their base. In this Research to Practice, nonprofit leadership and management expert Mark A.
