June is the Assistant Director in ‘ Volunteer Circle’, the volunteering arm of the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) in Singapore. Prior to her current role, June was involved in the NCSS fund-raising department, raising funds for charities and promoting community involvement to organisations and corporations. NCSS Volunteer Circle is the first-ever network in Singapore to bring together volunteers from across Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs) and the social service sector to share experiences, resources and knowledge. The aim is to enhance the volunteering experience, with the long-term goal of sustaining committed volunteers. Programmes include volunteer networking camps, social outings, tea sessions and training sessions. NCSS Volunteer Circle currently has a membership pool of over 500 social service volunteers.
