Nazrina Teladia is employed as the Director of the Friends of the Children’s Hospital Association based at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa (http://www.capegateway.gov.za/eng/pubs/public_info/R/103416/4). The hospital is the only premier specialist hospital dedicated entirely to children in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Teladia has been director of the organization for eight years and previously worked as a high school educator for 15 years. She attained her Teacher’s and Honors Degree in Education from the University of Cape Town and taught for 15 years. She then worked in the educational nonprofit sector for three years before becoming the Director of The Friends of the Children’s Hospital Association eight years ago. Recently, Teladia received the Health Management Certificate underwritten by the School of Public Health at Yale University.
