Paul has worked with Tearfund
http://www.tearfund.org, a UK-based development organisation devoted to "Christian action with the world's poor," for sixteen years. His first contact with the organisation was in 1986 when he travelled to Tanzania on a Task Force (now called Transform) Team. Following two further teams to Tanzania and Honduras, Paul started working in the Head Office and over the years has held various positions involved with Tearfund's volunteers. Having left Tearfund in 1998 to develop a business venture in Canada, Paul returned in May 1999 as a Relief Worker in Albania and Kosovo. After the Balkans, he went to Sierra Leone as Programme Director to set up Tearfund's new operational programme in West Africa.
Paul is now currently leading the Transform Team in Teddington, UK, for six months until a permanent member of staff is recruited. Transform is Tearfund's portfolio of programmes aimed at enabling supporters and staff to work alongside Tearfund's partners around the world to enable them to action their concern for justice and the poor and to develop lifestyles which emphasise justice, simplicity and peace.
