Jennifer Spencer is a Canadian communications expert who works in the not-for-profit sector.
Spencer began her career working for public relations agencies, where she partnered with health charities to tell patients' stories. She left the agency business to work for Canadian Blood Services, which relies heavily on volunteers to help run its blood donation clinics across Canada. Most recently, she was responsible for communications for at CNIB Ontario, where volunteerism is a key component of the corporate culture. Spencer was the lead author of the suite of manuals described in this article.
