Mireille Roy has been the Director of Volunteer Resources at SCOHS- Saint-Vincent Hospital in Ottawa, Canada since 1982.
She attended and now teaches for the Algonquin College Management of Volunteer Resources workshop series, holds a Certificate in Hospital Management from the Ontario Hospital Association, and is certified with the Ontario Association of Directors of Volunteer Services in Healthcare (1988), the Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources (1989), and the Canadian Institute for Conflict Resolution (1998-2000).
She is the current President of the Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources and has served on their board since 1993. She also served as a board member of Volunteer Canada from 1997-1999 and of the Volunteer Centre - Ottawa Carleton from 1991-1995. She was the National Representative for Canada to the International Association for Volunteer Effort, 1999 - 2001.
