Faye C. Roberts is a freelance editor and proofreader. She is a former social worker and childbirth educator who went on to work with public libraries more than 20 years. Her first library experience was coordinating a volunteer-based literacy program. After obtaining the MLIS degree from Florida State University, she served as a public library director, library development consultant and, from 2008 to 2014, as Executive Director of the Florida Library Association. She has worked with both on-site and virtual volunteers with varying levels of education and experience and was honored as the Florida Library Association’s 2014 Leader of the Year. Roberts lives in north Florida.
