Joy Parker, CVA, is the Director of Volunteer Services at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia, a role she has been in since 2001. Parker has 27 cumulative years of volunteer management experience. She received her B.S. in Finance from Radford University and her M.S. in Health Promotion from Virginia Tech University. Parker has served in various industry leadership roles, including past president of the Virginia Society for Directors of Healthcare Volunteer Services. She has held Certified Volunteer Administrator credentials from the Council for Certification in Volunteer Administration since 2005 and currently serves on the CCVA board as the Director of Ethics.
