Adaire Palmer currently works in the volunteer emergency services in South Australia as a Volunteer Management Consultant. In the course of her fifteen-year career in the voluntary sector, Adaire has worked for church-based community service agencies, Community Centres and Community Health Services, and for an International Humanitarian Organisation. Adaire is also co-Vice President of the Australasian Association of Volunteer Administrators (AAVA - www.aava.asn.au ). She holds a Masters in Professional Education, Graduate Diploma in Education and a Bachelor of Social Science (Community Development).
