Jessie L. Olien is a graduate student in the Organizational Science PhD program and the co-director of Volunteer Program Assessment at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Originally from Portland, Oregon, Olien earned her BA in Psychology from Michigan State University in 2010. Olien’s research interests center around small group/team processes, prosocial behaviors, and diversity.
