Nancy has a background in community development, sociology and teaching. She has had a long history of involvement with the voluntary sector, in both paid and voluntary capacities. Her voluntary experiences include advocacy, community development, campaigning, training, and involvement in community arts. She has worked extensively in Australia with the Latin American and Aboriginal Communities. Nancy is now based in Dublin as Training Service Manager for Volunteering Ireland ( www.volunteeringireland.ie).
