Mary Merrill, founder of Merrill Associates, is a major trainer and author in volunteerism. She has developed materials for The Ohio State University, where she is adjunct faculty and co-teaches the Institute for Community Leadership. Mary worked with the Points of Light Foundation to establish a volunteer center in Moscow, Russia. She coordinated an international project with The Ohio State University Extension Leadership Center that took her to Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, where she helped program participants study emerging leadership in times of great change. She was an invited presenter for the 1998 Latin American Conference on Volunteerism in Venezuela and the 15th Biennial World Volunteer Conference in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is a frequent presenter at the International Conference on Volunteer Administration. She is a trainer in strategic communications, conflict management, neurolinguistics, and faith-based volunteerism for L.E.A.D. Consultants, Inc.
