Valerio Melandri is Professor of Strategy and Techniques of Fund Raising and Management of Not-for-Profit Organizations at the Faculty of Economics of Forlì (University of Bologna, Italy). He carried out his studies at New York University, where he began his research activity, and received a MA in Management at the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. He has written several books and articles about the management of not-for-profit organizations and new forms of employment, and his main research interests concern fund raising for not-for-profit organizations. He is the director of a centre providing training, counselling and assistance to fundraisers and managers of the non profit sector.
