Kirsty McDowell is a consultant and trainer with a wealth of experience in developing volunteering, designing and delivering training, managing projects, and supporting volunteers. She has worked for a range of nonprofit organisations from small community groups to UK-wide charities across the arts, social care, disability, health, and education sectors.
McDowell is a part-time Area Development Manager for Parkinson’s UK. She also runs her own business, Fish Quay Consulting & Training, based in North East England.
McDowell is a passionate musician and a keen rower. She enjoys volunteering and is a trustee of a local charity and a befriender for Newcastle upon Tyne’s West End Refugee Service.
