Elizabeth M. Lucas

Elizabeth M. Lucas, CAE, MBA, CEO and Executive Director, oversees the overall direction setting and implementation of Soroptimist’s operations in 20 countries and territories. She works with volunteers and staff to: expand support for the mission; develop resources to ensure financial security; strengthen the brand; and ensure programs are sustainable and measurable.

Previously, Lucas spent 15 years with the American Massage Therapy Association and the Massage Therapy Foundation, where she successfully guided the strategic development of both organizations. Her prior experience was in the safety, health and environmental industries, and retail merchandising.

Lucas is active in professional and civic organizations, including the American Society of Association Executives, the Association Forum of Chicagoland, Landmark College, and the Guild of St. Mary.
