Erika C. Lopina received her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and is a student in the Organizational Science doctoral program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Lopina joined the university's Volunteer Program Assessment team in 2010, and was the co-director of VPA from 2011-2013. Her research interests include volunteer management, dirty work, and the aging workforce. Her research has appeared in the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Human Relations, the Society for Industrial-Organizational Psychology Frontiers Book Series, and the Case Research Journal.
