As the City of Boulder, Colorado’s Volunteer Program and Project Manager, Aimee Kane leads many organizational culture initiatives, including volunteerism, customer experience, and most recently racial equity. She provides strategic oversight for the city’s volunteer programs and under her leadership, the City of Boulder obtained Service Enterprise Certification in May of 2018. Several times a year, Kane devotes her time to facilitating leadership training to inspire and develop leaders at every level in the organization.
Kane's passion for people and service, combined with her self-driven work ethic, helps her effectively work with her colleagues to bring people together to effect change in the community. She serves as a board member for the Colorado Directors of Volunteers in Agencies. She graduated with a BA in Communication Disorders and Speech Science from the University of Colorado and has been with the City of Boulder since 2005.
