Barb Gemmell, CAVR, has extensive experience in facilitating and consulting for organizations of all sizes and structures throughout Canada . Establishing Gemmell Training & Consulting in September 2000, Barb provides customized services for leadership development and volunteer resources management. She is a contract trainer with the Volunteer Centre of Winnipeg where she was a staff member for 13 years. Barb is the author of a number of articles in the Canadian Journal of Volunteer Resources Management.
Barb provides practical ideas including examples from her current personal volunteer involvement with organizations such as the United Way of Winnipeg , Kidney Foundation of Canada, Hospice and Palliative Care Manitoba , Canadian Administrators of Volunteer Resources, and Manitoba Association for Volunteer Administration.
