Lynn Felker is an enthusiastic volunteer engagement professional based in Brantford, Ontario. Felker has spent the past 10 years working with spiritual, historical and health care organizations helping unpaid individuals connect with their passions.
Felker’s early education in Business and Human Resources has been augmented with a certificate in Volunteer Management and the international designation of CVA, Certified Volunteer Administrator. In addition, Felker has been an active member of the BRAVA executive for a number of years and will assume the role of president in 2022.
Joining the Stedman Community Hospice at the height of the pandemic has given Felker a ringside seat to the changes that COVID has forced upon volunteerism and the role of Volunteer Engagement. Felker says she continues to be committed to spreading the message that “volunteers are not chairs, I am not a tree and it was never about the ham” in order to create a platform for meaningful engagement and opportunities.
