Paul Clarke is a leadership development researcher and consultant based in Mallorca, Spain, and Founder of The Leaders Coach. His research examines why leadership competencies collapse under pressure in for-impact organisations, and what leaders of Volunteer Engagement can do to prevent it. The framework emerging from that research is currently being implemented by national sporting bodies, and its wider implications for volunteer management, HRD, and nonprofit leadership are the subject of ongoing work with organisations across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and beyond. He writes "Fine Lines," a newsletter on leadership under pressure across sport, business and volunteer-led contexts. His work has been featured on The Volunteer Nation podcast with Tobi Johnson and other publications.
