Ian Brown is a health economist who has spent the last ten years in public policy considering the structural and funding issues of strategic importance for the Australian health system.
In 1999 Ian worked as the Policy Manager for Volunteering SA. It was during this year that he played a significant role in development of the Volunteering Vision 2010 document. Ian gave particular consideration to redefining the nature and scope of volunteering in the context of the emerging social and economic trends in Australia.
