Nonie Brennan began her work in the nonprofit sector over 20 years ago. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario, holds a certificate in Volunteer Management from Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan, has studied at the Institute for Advanced Volunteer Management in the United Kingdom and holds a Certificate in Fundraising Management from the Fundraising School at Indiana University. Nonie implemented the first "211" (3 digit dialing code) to access health and human service programs in Michigan, established the American Institute for Advanced Studies in Volunteer Management, and is a founding member of the ConnectMichigan Alliance Board of Directors. Nonie is the former Executive Director of the Volunteer Center in Battle Creek, Michigan and is currently working as a consultant.
