Frank is Executive Director of ANSA - the Association of Nutrition Services Agencies (http://www.ansanutrition.org/ ), – an international membership organization whose mission is to enhance the lives of people living with HIV/AIDS and other life threatening illnesses by strengthening the capacity of community-based organizations that provide nutrition support. Abdale is co-author of “Practical Abundance: A Comprehensive Guide to Fundraising and Development”, and primary author of "Community-Based Nutrition Support for People Living with HIV and AIDS A Technical Assistance Manual.”
Before joining ANSA, Abdale was a partner in Mitchell/Abdale Associates, a New York City–based consulting firm that specialized in development and communications strategies, strategic planning and board development for non-profits. He has produced several program-related videos, published numerous articles on a variety of topics, and developed a series of workshops related to nutrition and AIDS/cancer that he has presented across the United States and in London, England. Abdale taught “Fundraising Concepts and Practices” as adjunct faculty at NYU’s School of Professional Studies and Continuing Education.
